„On January 4, 1996, Phoebus (Daniel J. Stern) compiled a list of Classical Gothic music from the suggestions of various net.goths, and then posted that article to the newsgroup alt.gothic. Since I wasn’t going to buy the 95+ composers just for the few gothic songs each composer wrote (especially if I hadn’t heard them first), I went out in search of their midi equivalent.“
