I’ve seen him in all his movies and most of his early TV appearances and he took method acting to a ridiculous level. All the old senior actors thought he was crazy and they weren’t far from the truth. He was definitely at the right place at the right time. His rebellious-teen manner coincided perfectly with the rock and roll culture.”
